Daily Care Routine
Simple habits that will keep your blooms fresh and vibrant for longer
Change Water Daily
Replace the water in your vase every 1 to 2 days. Each time you do, re-trim the stems slightly at an angle. This keeps the water clean and allows better absorption.
Remove Dying Leaves
Remove any leaves sitting below the waterline as soon as you notice them. Submerged leaves rot quickly and contaminate the water, shortening the life of your blooms.
Choose the Right Spot
Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, open windows, ceiling fans, and air conditioning vents. A cool, shaded spot indoors will extend their bloom life significantly.
Keep Away from Fruit
Never place flowers near a fruit bowl. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas which accelerates wilting. Keep them in a separate area of your room for best results.
Bud Care
If your flowers arrived in bud form, that is completely intentional. Place them in water in a warm room and they will open beautifully within 24 to 48 hours, giving you a longer bloom life.
Trim Stems at an Angle
Always cut stems at a 45 degree angle rather than straight across. This increases the surface area for water absorption and prevents the stem from sitting flat on the vase bottom.

Care for Your Specific Arrangement
Fresh Bouquets
Trim 2 to 3 cm off stems at an angle immediately after receiving. Place in a clean vase with fresh room-temperature water. Change water every 1 to 2 days and re-trim stems each time.
Flower Boxes
Do not pour water directly into the box. Lightly mist the flowers once a day using a small spray bottle. Keep in a cool, ventilated area away from direct heat. Handle from the base.
Basket Arrangements
Mist lightly every day. If the arrangement is in floral foam, add a small amount of water directly to the foam every 24 hours to keep it moist. Keep in a shaded, cool spot.
Artificial Flowers
Dust gently every week with a soft dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods as UV exposure causes colours to fade. Store in a dry, covered space when not on display.
Floral Jewellery
Keep away from water, moisture, and direct sunlight. Store in the original box when not being worn. Avoid spraying perfume directly onto the florals. Handle from the base, not the flowers.
Chocolate Gift Boxes
Keep chocolates in a cool dry place. Do not refrigerate unless specified. Store away from strong odours. The floral elements on the box can be misted lightly to maintain freshness.

A Special Note for Lahore's Heat
Lahore's climate can be rough on fresh flowers, especially during summer months. Here is what we recommend:
